Living the rural lifestyle with my wife Lynn and our two boys, Payne and Ness, is a dream come true. Growing up in the “big city” of Linden, Alabama, I always thought it would be fun to live out in 
the woods and wake up to turkeys gobbling on beautiful spring mornings. God has blessed me with that very way of life and a loving family to share it all with. Our home, near Thomaston in Marengo County, sits on 67 acres of diverse land used for all types of family recreational activities. Picnics, arrowhead hunting, bird watching, hikes, atv rides, and deer hunting are just a few of the constant outdoor activities available for the Smith family around the property.
